Mapes and Ross, a division of Roy Morgan International Ltd is seeking to employ an experienced business accountant on a part-time basis in Princeton, NJ. 

The position would suit someone looking to work 2-3 days or approximately 15 - 20 hours per week.  Candidates who are semi-retired or wishing to work short days may find the job ideal.

It is a hands-on role covering a number of aspects of both accounting and administration with an approximate 70% focus on compliance and reporting and 30% on projects and ad-hoc tasks.  The successful applicant should have formal accounting qualifications, must be pro-active and able to work either alone or with a team of International Research Managers to ensure project success and profitability.

• Accounting systems — Microsoft Great Plains would be an advantage.
• Microsoft office

• Receivables and payables
• Standard and ad-hoc management reporting
• Compliance reporting — state and federal tax
• Vendor maintenance
• Job costing
• Management of payroll and staff benefits
