	Chief Information Officer International Information Business Key Management Role - IT & Telecommunications (IT&T) Immediate Business Growth & Expansion Early Adopters of New Technology Attractive Remuneration Package This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional with significant software development experience to join one of Australia's largest and most reputable information suppliers. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will have complete management responsibility for driving the Company's IT&T infrastructure and ongoing development of its proprietary software internationally. This includes responsibility for: a significant budget, software application development for commercial customers, identification and resolution of operational (IT&T) inefficiencies, large scale projects including installations/network/infrastructure upgrades, a group of high performing individuals/teams, and all other activities relating to the development, maintenance, acquisition and use of the Company's software, hardware and telecommunications systems. This is a senior role, requiring a proven track record and significant previous experience in: software development for commercial customers, the successful management of IT projects (including feasibility, capacity, availability, technology and resource management), leading groups of IT&T individuals to meet divisional objectives, software & database development, an application skill set that includes .NET & SQL, Networking fundamentals and the Web-delivery of information. Exceptional leadership skills, astute decision making capability, sound project management skills and a handle on emerging technologies also essential.
