GOOGLE OVERTAKES YAHOO AS THE MOST POPULAR SEARCH ENGINE

Google has overtaken Yahoo as the search engine most favoured by Australians. Respondents are asked: "When searching the Internet, which of the following search facilities or search engines do you mainly use?" and in the December quarter, 26% of people aged 14 and over said Google, compared to 21% who said they mainly use Yahoo.
