Release IM- 105 - July 21, 2003

ROY MORGAN INTERNET MONITOR

If you only had access to the Internet from WORK, what type of web sites would you visit?

There are 549,000 Australians who have used the Internet from work only (no usage from any other location) in the last 4 weeks and naturally not all the sites they visited were work related.

25% visited an e-mail site to check their personal e-mail, 21% a bank site, 19% a travel site, 10% an entertainment site and 7% checking out their job prospects by visiting an employment site.
