Certification

Roy Morgan Research is certified to both AS/NZS ISO 9001 and ISO 20252

(NCSI Registration No. 6669)

In July 2007, Roy Morgan Research achieved certification to the new ISO 20252 International Market, Opinion and Social Research standard.This new standard is specific to the market research industry and covers all stages of a research study, including proposals, questionnaire design, field, data analysis and final presentation of results to clients.

Driven by the global market research industry and professional and trade associations, including European Society for Opinion and Market Research (ESOMAR) and Market Research Quality Standards Association (MRQSA), the ISO20252 standard provides an internationally recognised framework for market researchers to work to.

Cultural, social and behavioural differences between countries makes conducting, monitoring and relying upon international research very difficult. The implementation and certification of a management system based on ISO 20252 enables organisations to regulate these differences and carry out cross-border, multi-country research studies with the assurance that working procedures are compatible.

Also, Roy Morgan Research has been certified to AS NZS/ISO 9001 International Quality Systems standard since 1995.Whilst ISO 9001 is a general industry standard, it has provided a sound, globally accepted, framework for quality assurance and continuous improvement for over 20 years, and is still considered the benchmark standard requested by major clients.

Certification is an ongoing process that encourages continuous improvement with a focus on customer satisfaction, and supports the achievement of our organisation's goals. Certification gives us and our clients the confidence that our systems are working efficiently and meet international standards of excellence. As a result, our clients and business partners can be confident that our products and services are not only of the highest quality but are continuously assessed and improved.
