New Features and Enhancements in ASTEROID Versions 4.9 - 4.6
Roy Morgan is continuously improving ASTEROID based on user feedback and requirements. It is because of such user input that we have made the following enhancements and new features available in the current version of the software which can be downloaded free by following this LINK.
ASTEROID version 4.9 included these improvements:
- Faster ASTEROID
- Taking advantage of multi-core technology to make processing in ASTEROID faster.
- Quadrant Charting
- An enhancement to Scatter Charts, allowing for the display of a quadrant for ‘SWOT’ style analysis.
- No Re-run Tasks
- ASTEROID does not unnecessarily recalculate tables when display options are changed
- WebScheduler
- A new scheduling component in MediaPLANNER

ASTEROID version 4.8 included these improvements:
- Report folder enhancements, including:
- Changes to report folder tasks can be saved
- If applied, Grid templates are automatically included in new report folder tasks
- Tasks still linked to the Report Folder, even if it is hidden
- Updates to Grid View
- Adjustment flags can now be shown on Grid View, as they are on Report View
- File Output options can now be specified by the user
- Optimizing compilers are now used to speed up ASTEROID task processing

- Constructs optimum print media schedules
