Newspaper Inserted Magazines: Readership of Weekend Australian Magazine, Sunday Telegraph TV Guide, Sunday Herald Sun Screen and Gold Coast Eye increase

There were four newspaper inserted magazines that managed to increase their readership over the last year despite broader industry trends including the Weekend Australia Magazine, Sunday Telegraph TV Guide, Sunday Herald Sun Screen and Gold Coast Eye.

The biggest increase in readership was for the Sunday Herald Sun Screen in Victoria for which readership increased 18.6 per cent to 363,000 followed by the second most widely read newspaper inserted magazine overall the Weekend Australian Magazine now read by 581,000, up 6.8 per cent on a year ago.

The most widely read newspaper inserted magazine is again the Good Weekend read by 785,000, but down 4.8 per cent on a year ago, while the third most widely read is Domain with a readership of 504,000, but down a significant 26.6 per cent on a year ago following a COVID-19 lockdown related slump in the Australian property market.

Other widely read newspaper inserted magazines include Stellar magazine read by 503,000, down marginally by 1.4 per cent on a year ago, Sunday Life with a readership of 452,000, down 4.8 per cent, and the sixth most widely read Sunday Telegraph TV Guide in NSW read by 422,000, down 2.2 per cent on a year ago.
