2023 National Drug Strategy Household Survey Prize Terms and Conditions

HOW TO ENTER

In order to participate in this promotion, respondents are required to complete and return a survey about tobacco, alcohol and other drug use, attitudes and beliefs (“The survey”).

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 14 and over who have completed The survey. (“Eligible Respondents”) Employees and their immediate families of Roy Morgan cannot participate in The survey and are ineligible to win prizes.
3. An Eligible Respondent will receive one (1) entry for completing The survey.  Eligible Respondents receive one (1) entry into the relevant Prize Draw.
4. The method for entering the promotion is by: a) Email or SMS invitation. The respondent will be provided with a URL link to provide access to The survey.
   b) Paper based. Respondents are invited by mail, telephone or a home visit to complete a paper based version of The survey.
5. Roy Morgan reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with The survey requirements or these Conditions of Entry, or who is not an Eligible Respondent.  Respondents who attempt to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods, may be disqualified by Roy Morgan and have their entries removed from the Prize Draw.
6. All entries must be received by the stated closing date for the relevant Prize Draw of The survey.  No responsibility accepted by Roy Morgan for late or misdirected entries.
7. During the promotional period there will be a minimum of ten (10) x Prize Draws. Entries received during each period will go into that Prize Draw. There will be one (1) winner per Prize Draw.
8. Prize Draw: the first valid entry drawn in each Prize Draw will receive an e-Gift Card to the value of $500.

9. Promotion for the Prize Draws commence in the following order:

a) Prize Draw 21 promotion commences January 7, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST April 5, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on April 6, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

b) Prize Draw 22 promotion commences April 6, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST April 12, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on April 14, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

c) Prize Draw 23 promotion commences April 13, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST April 19, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on April 21, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

d) Prize Draw 24 promotion commences April 20, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST April 26, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on April 28, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

e) Prize Draw 25 promotion commences April 27, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST May 3, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on May 5, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

f) Prize Draw 26 promotion commences May 4, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST May 10, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on May 12, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

g) Prize Draw 27 promotion commences May 11, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST May 17, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on May 19, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

h) Prize Draw 28 promotion commences May 18, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST May 24, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on May 26, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

i) Prize Draw 29 promotion commences May 25, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST May 31, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on June 2, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

j) Prize Draw 30 promotion commences June 1, 2023.  Closes 12 midnight EST June 15, 2023.  Draw will be conducted on June 16, 2023 at 12.00pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.

10. Total prize pool over the ten (10) Prize Draws is $5,000. The total prize pool of each of the ten (10) Prize Draws is $500. Any additional draws that are within The Survey promotion period will be $500.
11. The e-Gift Card will be delivered to the winner by email or SMS. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the e-Gift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.
12. If the winner of a Prize Draw is under 18 years of age, the prize will be given to the winner’s legal parent or guardian as trustee for the winner.
13. In the event of there being any unclaimed prizes an unclaimed Prize Draw will be conducted on July 14, 2023 at 12pm at the premises of Roy Morgan, Tonic House, 386 Flinders Lane, Melbourne Victoria 3000.
14. Winners will be notified by phone, mail or email and published on the Roy Morgan website: www.roymorgan.com/prizedraw within 5 business days after each Prize Draw.
15. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promotor, the Promotor may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
16. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct The survey. If the information requested is not provided, the entry will be invalid and the entrant may not participate in The survey.  However, entrants’ personal information will NOT be disclosed to any party other than Roy Morgan for any future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes.  Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.  A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Roy Morgan at the address set out below.
