FieldworX Privacy Policy
This privacy policy ("Policy") aims to give you information on how Roy Morgan Research Ltd collects and processes your personal information.
This Policy applies to all Roy Morgan Research's Field Research Officers, who download and install to their mobile device the FieldworX software application (the "App") developed by Roy Morgan.

What is FieldworX App?
FieldworX App is a field work management application that provides access to Roy Morgan Research policies, Project Work Schedules, and curated news articles applicable to Field Research Officers. The App also allows Roy Morgan’s Field Research Officers to review, accept, and digitally sign a copy of the Project Work Schedule.
What data do we collect?
Roy Morgan collects, uses, and stores your Personally Identifiable Information (such as your name, phone number, email address, and residential address) that you have disclosed to us during your employment. This information is used to authenticate your access to the App and to provide you with Project Work Schedules and important notifications. When Roy Morgan issues you with a Project Work Schedule in the App, you may be asked to provide a digital signature.
The App will collect a copy of your digital signature and store a copy of the completed Project Work Schedule.
The App may also collect System information from your device. This includes information about the device, operating system, and browser that you are running on, including the IP address and device_id of the device and how the App is operating.
Who has access to this data?
No personal information is shared for any purpose other than its use in the course of your employment with Roy Morgan Interviewing Services Pty Ltd.
In respect of the information Roy Morgan collects about you; you have the right to request:
• access to the personal information Roy Morgan holds about you. Your personal information is available in our HR System, which you have access to.
• the correction of your personal information when incorrect, out of date, or incomplete. You can correct your personal information in Roy Morgan’s HR System which you have access to.
Retention of your personal information
Roy Morgan retains your personal information only as long as necessary to accomplish the business purpose for which it was collected or to comply with our legal and contractual obligations, and then securely disposes of that information.
How is data stored and protected?
Roy Morgan stores all your personal information on servers in Australia.
Roy Morgan has in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect users’ personal information from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered, or disclosed. These measures are reviewed periodically to assess effectiveness against new or emerging threats.
In addition, Roy Morgan limits access to users’ personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know and they are subject to a strict duty of confidentiality and to protect your privacy. No personal information is shared with third parties outside of Australia.
Roy Morgan also has in place strict procedures to deal with any suspected personal information breach and will notify affected users and any applicable regulator of a breach where Roy Morgan is legally required to do so.

You can remove the App from your device at any time.

Roy Morgan complies with Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (GDPR). Roy Morgan’s privacy policies and associated protection practices have been developed to ensure that Roy Morgan meets the requirements of Australian Privacy law and the GDPR.
For the purposes of compliance with the GDPR, the term “personal information” in this policy should be read as “personal data” in relation to Roy Morgan’s obligations under the GDPR.

If your complaint is regarding removal of your contact details from our records, we will confirm in writing to you as soon as this is actioned.
