Aussie Broadband wins the ‘Best of the Best’ Award for Customer Satisfaction for the first time

Aussie Broadband has won the Roy Morgan ‘Best of the Best’ Customer Satisfaction Award for the first time – just ahead of car manufacturer Skoda, ubiquitous liquor store chain Dan Murphy’s and supermarket chain ALDI.

The ‘Best of the Best’ award goes to the company that achieved the highest customer satisfaction of all 38 winners in the Annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Recent winners of the annual Award include liquor store Cellarbrations and car manufacturers Isuzu UTE and Lexus.

Aussie Broadband enjoyed a stellar year winning not only the Mobile Phone Service Provider of the year for the first time but also the Internet Service Provider of the Year for a third time.

Aussie Broadband had customer satisfaction of an exceptional 97.5% in 2023 to beat Car Manufacturer of the Year Skoda by the barest of margins in second place with 97.1%.

Other category winners to perform strongly included Liquor Store of the Year Dan Murphy’s on 96.1%, Supermarket of the Year ALDI on 95.7%, Mobile Handset Provider of the Year Apple iPhone on 94.8%, Bank of the Year P&N Bank on 94.7%, General Insurer of the Year RAA on 94.1%, Clothing Store of the Year Suzanne Grae and Private Health Insurer of the Year St Lukes, both on 93.6%, and Neobank of the Year, Up (93.5%).

“Aussie Broadband had an outstanding year during 2023 by winning not only Roy Morgan’s sought after ‘Best of the Best Award’, but also its first Mobile Phone Service Provider of the Year Award and a third Internet Service Provider of the Year Award.

Aussie Broadband is the first ever business to win three awards in the same year.

“Aussie Broadband notched up ten monthly victories in the Internet Service Provider category – including two streaks of five monthly wins in a row – as well as six monthly victories in the Mobile Phone Service Provider category for a total of 16 monthly satisfaction wins.

“Even more impressive than winning 16 monthly satisfaction awards was Aussie Broadband’s 97.5% average customer satisfaction in the Mobile Phone Service Provider category – a new record high. This record exceeds that of previous ‘Best of the Best’ Award winner Lexus in 2019 of 96.8%.

“Special mention must go to standout Car Manufacturer of the Year Skoda. Skoda won an impressive ten monthly customer satisfaction awards and had an average customer satisfaction rating of 97.1% – enough to have won every other ‘Best of the Best’ Award in previous years.

“There were also stellar performances by third-placed Liquor Store of the Year Dan Murphy’s (96.1% – and 12 monthly wins), fourth-placed Supermarket of the Year ALDI (95.7% – and 12 monthly wins) and fifth-placed Apple iPhone (94.8% – and eight monthly wins).

“Five companies with consecutive strong results which were in the top 10 last year, as well as this year, included the aforementioned Skoda, Dan Murphy’s, ALDI and Apple iPhone as well as the eighth placed Suzanne Grae (93.6% – and 12 monthly wins).

“There were two first-time winners to land in the Top 10 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award Winners led by Bank of the Year P&N Bank in sixth place on 94.7% and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank subsidiary Up which took out 12 monthly awards among Neobanks with an average customer satisfaction rating of 93.5%.
